Opening Ceremony London 2012 Olympics Games Live Telecast in India
The opening & closing ceremony of London 2012 Olympics will be telecast live in India on Doordarshan – DD National & DD Sports on28th July 2012 from 1 AM IST to 4:30 AM IST. i.e. for international users it is 27 July 2012 from 1 PM PST & 9 PM London Time GMT.

Danny Boyle – Oscar award winning director for the movie Slumdog Millionaire is the man directing the opening ceremony along with director Stephen Daldry.
The ceremony, which has been kept under deep secret with no one allowed to disclose any details has been named -
Many famous celebrities will be performing at the ceremony namely – Beatles Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Daniel Craig (James Bond fame), David Beckham, & many more.
The Big Ben, famous clock tower, will sound the start of the opening ceremony of the Games.
